You will be aware that we have had a frustrating wait to receive new stocks of the Americot® brand of premium cotton surgical patties from our supplier, American Surgical Company.

The reason for the delay is the verification and regulatory checks that have been necessary to induct a new supplier of the raw material (cotton) into the supply chain. The previous supplier was unable to continue, so a new supplier had to be approved. Unfortunately, this process took longer than anticipated.

Production has now restarted and we are expecting shipments of Americot® over the coming months. At this stage, we are unable to provide a firm delivery date when your order will be fulfilled other than 'as soon a possible'.

We accept this is very frustrating for you and it is far from the “next day” service level we have always worked hard to maintain.

On behalf of Minim Healthcare Ltd, I can only apologise for the inconvenience this has already caused you, and continues to cause you until this is resolved.

In the process of fulfilling your orders, we will increase our stockholding further.

In the meantime, our team is ready to discuss alternative patties from our range that we do have in stock, including RayCot, Uniqcot and our specialist patties, the ultra-thin Delicot and our low adherence Telfa patties range.

Once again, I am sorry for this frustrating situation; thank you for your patience. Once Americot® comes back into stock, you can be sure that we will fulfil your orders with all possible haste.
